BOILING POT STATE PARK – Woodward, OK

This park received its name from the numerous underground streams creating a “boiling” effect.  The area surrounding the park is semi-arid climate and sparse vegetation so the park is often referred to as an oasis.  It has a very pretty lake for boating and fishing, a swimming pool and many shaded RV sites. We were hiking on one of the trails and came across a fawn hidden under some brush, it was so precious, we stayed our distance so not to cause any harm.
